Foreword of PSLp From childhood our going in and out of various doors has been a routine part of life. But in all probability, there shall be few doors so influential- so molding on our very beings, as these we have passed through at college. These doors have been many . . . for while the primary purpose of college is obtaining that prized degree, there are many more doors than those of the classroom. The gym doors — the dormitory doors — the oft ' opened doors of the Soda Shop — all ha ' e been a part of us and our life here at Guilford. It is through these portals that we take you, with the hope that this book shall be in years to come a key to unlock for you the good, the wonderful memories of 1954-1955.
