Education involves the cooperation and sharing of knowledge where the use of resources and material available in the form of books and people, is of- fered to the student. As the students discover what they need to learn, the teacher helps them to benefit from past experiencesand new ideas so that they may see themselves as both individuals and members of a society. Each student takes from his education what will be most useful to him and gives back to his environment the skills that he has learned so that he can contribute to help others. The development of creative potentials, the gain of general knowledge and the acquisition of specific information, are results of teacher- student relationships. Students have the opportunity to work with teachers to explore a subject, to work independently and to have accomplishments eval- uated by the teacher who serves as an assistant, resource, and guide. The teacher listens and responds to what the students say, acting as a catalyst, asking questions, and offering data to increase the knowledge of the student.
