The practice rooms have ovcr- flown into the tcacher's cafeteria and onto the stage. Here the students are developing their own individual talents in music, whether it be playing a iazz clarinet or sing- ing a perfect run from the Messiahf' By exposing each student to both contemporary and classical works, the Music department seeks to help him discover just where his talents lie. Each student is offered the op- portunity of taking lessons in their own field, and aid and instruction are always available eighth periods. By doing this, the Music de- partment hopes to enable a student to be so equipped that he can participate in a col- lege or community music group.

' Physical Education The Physical Education Department exposes all stu- dents to a wide variety of physical activities, everything from basketball to folk dancing, from volleyball to wres- tling. The department seeks to develop each person to his fullest extent. In addition, it encourages an individual to End a certain game that he can play well and to develop his skill in it.
