His friendliness and sense ofhumor make him a popular member of the admini- stration. Mr. Carlson came to G.C.H.S. in 1957 from Wakefield. Massachusetts, where he taught for six years. He taught history and math, and later became chairman ofthe math department, a po- sition he held from 1958 until 1961. ln 1960 he became assistant principal. He supervises attendance, discipline, trans- portation, maintenance, and adult edu- cation. Mr. Carlson received his A.B. and A.M. from Boston University, and his M.Ed. from the University of Massa- chusetts. High Qdww The mind ofthe wise man will know the time andthe way.
