His friendliness and sense ofhumor make him a popular member of the admini- stration. Mr. Carlson came to G.C.H.S. in 1957 from Wakefield. Massachusetts, where he taught for six years. He taught history and math, and later became chairman ofthe math department, a po- sition he held from 1958 until 1961. ln 1960 he became assistant principal. He supervises attendance, discipline, trans- portation, maintenance, and adult edu- cation. Mr. Carlson received his A.B. and A.M. from Boston University, and his M.Ed. from the University of Massa- chusetts. High Qdww The mind ofthe wise man will know the time andthe way. Before he became our high school principal in 1960, Mr. Ciaccio was department chairman of the Citizen Education department at Camden Central, Camden, New York, for three years.
