FOREWARD We have looked forward with dreams and hopes to our Senior year. Unfor- tunately the time has passed very quickly and we are now at cross-roads; be- ing challenged with making our youthful dreams become reality. From the first day of school, friendships were born and faded away and ideas were concieved and disillusioned. Laughter ringing in the halls, tears gliding down cheeks in a desolate corner, apprehension over exams, the warmth of a tested and proven friendship, the competitive spirit of contests, athletics and social life, have all helped to create the personality of GHS. As the years go by, we the Bruin Staff, sincerely hope that as you thumb through the pages of the Bruin, you will fondly remember the friends made and experiences had at Gueydan High School. For all of us on this campus — students, faculty, staff, and those who share our feelings for GHS — we proudly present to you, the 1986 Bruin. — Monica Hair
