It is not often you find someone who is willing to give their time and energy. We the Seniors of 1984 were lucky enough to find two people who were not only willing to give their time and energy, hut they did it without expecting any pay. The help they've given the school is deeply appreciated. They were always there when FHA. 4-H, FFA, or any other organization was in need of their help. Their help was given to us not only in our senior year, but it started during our freshman year. They helped raise the funds we needed to finish our years at Gueydan High. They supported the band, even though they didn't have any children in band, they provided transportation to parish meetings, they helped chaperon dances, supervised the making of our floats, and donated articles for the Senior class to raffle. They have not only given help to the students, but they helped the faculty just as much. Without the help of these two very special people our class and our school wouldn 7 have reached the goals it set. This dedication is just the least we could do to repay their given love. We the Seniors of 1984, with much love, cledicte our yearbook to our adopted parents, Mr. Mrs. Joseph Breaux, Jr., better known to us as Mr. Jake and Mrs. Aline. 4

Anthony E. Rizzuto Renford Abshire Message To The Seniors The need for education has never been so great as it is today. In addition to gathering knowledge, education has given each of you a better chance to look within and search for your own identity. The number of graduates in any graduating class is not indicative of each individual's ability. This class of 1984 is small in numbers but high in talent and achievement.
