Presenting The 1958 Bruin Published by THE SENIOR CLASS Gueydan High School Volume 5 FOREWORD In order to typify the curricular and extracurricular activities of the Gueydan High School, we have not followed any definite theme. Instead, we have tried to make our pictures portray the school year 1957-'58. It has been our intent to include all school functions. We hope that each and every student will feel this is solely his annual. The Seniors te. MR. HARRIS JOHNSTON To one who deserves the honor, we wish to dedicate THE BRUIN. It is but an humble effort to show our appreciation for many years of hardwork for helping to make Gueydan High School a better and more outstanding school. « Y uztjdan cJ ficjfi eScfioot T. L. BUSH, Principal 1'jz utydan, ouiiiana To the Seniors: From the day you enroll as a first grader until you receive your high school diploma, the faculty is working behind the scenes to enrich your high school career. While guid- ing you in the ways of learning, they endeavor to impart to you the high principles and ideals on which to build a successful life. You have had so little time to enjoy your exalted status as Seniors before the session has faded and it is time to bid farewell. Those of us who remain behind extend to you a sincere wish that you will have a joyous and successful journey ahead for we know that behind you are many happy memories of days and friends in Gueydan High.
