ASS III TURY On the first day of school, 19MM, the class of '57 began their jour hey through school Among these harry faces we f1nd Rlchard Collis sandra Hllllvas, Joann Offt, Gwendolyn Rieck, Jerry Roshek, and Paul wiedow we walked through the door, lunch pails in hand and were greeted by V153 Carolyn Strong The next year we lost sandra Hllligas from our class Howard Heinen Joined us tH1S year and oar teacher was Miss smlth we began our second grade under the supervlslon of Vrs D1eter1ch we gained two new members, PaCla Provln and Patrlca Brown We lost three members, Rlchard Collis, Joan Offt, and Gwen Rieck Nrs Sammon was our third grade instructor New additions to our group were Don Keegan and Jack Irwin Our loss was P3018 Provin and Pat Brown It was the fall of 19H8 we advanced Sa mon as our teacher No loss s and no During our year in the fifth grade, Miss Verch Newcomers to our class were and Gaye Strong into the fourth grade with Mrs gains were made we were tnder the supervislon of Dorls Bayer for the 1st semester In the fall of 1950 we began our sixth grade Mrs Jacobs was our teacher Th class remained th same After our struggle through grade school we were now ready to be 1U troduced to Junior iivh No changes in the class roll were evident Ab we advanced lnto the eieth g ade add1t1ons to the class were P8013 Provln and Bartara IHIUPS Ve we e under the supervision of Hrs Seye with the lo s of Paul Veidow and Pacia Provin the last semester continued After a short vacation of three months and much anticipation we en tered Hlgh school were we took our places among the gigantic seniors and tr1ed to look small and 1HCOHSP1CUOUS But even w1th all th efforts we stlll had to be broken 1h by 1n1t1ation Gur class which was enlarged by Doris Bayer, Harvey Johnson, and Judy Johnston progressed Leavlng us were Harvey Johnson and Jack lrwln Ve were under the stpervlsion of Mr Denham as sup rlntendent for this year On we went fo our furthe educatloh to our Sophomore vear believe lt or not we lo t no one t11s year Mr Rutt was our new Supefinfendent this vear Still wlth Mr Rutt as our Superintendent, we began our Junlor year Thi vcar was to be a very excitlng one for us Ne had a class play entitled HAaron Sllck from Punkin Creek ' This year was a busy year with the JUWIOT Senior Banquet portraylng a HHawa11an Theme N As we started the last and flnal lap in our nlvn chool careers, we flhd Don Feegan transferrlng to Varengo Edward Jones was our superlntendeht and those answerlng the flhal roll call were Dor1s Bayer, 1oward deinen, Edward Llttle, and Gaye Strong we flnd tH3t none of the class was a member of the orlginal kindergarten class at Guerns y ve want to express our farewell and w1sh you all the best of luck . - .L . , ' 1 - 0 - ..
