U. S.S. GUADALUPE fA0-321 FLEET POST OFFICE SAN FRANCISCO. CALIFORNIA D L D 1 C A ?'l U A This Cruise Book 'ell - s the story of our deployment with the D SDVBMIP Fleet from A March 7967 until 9 October 1967. Our mission: Support those Naval Forces operating in the western Pacific in the defense of the freedom of the people of South Vietnam. This we accomplished proudly and successfully. Therefore, this Cruise BOOK is dedicated to our ship, U55 dUADAtUHEg to our Crew, and to our loved ones waiting at home. To our ship: Because she never failed to respond to our call, in all weather, day and night, at all speeds, and with little advance notice. To our Crew: Because of their dedication, high motivation, un- matched ability in carrying out the myriad duties and responsibilities of our mission - done always with vigor and without complaint. To Our Loved Ones: Because of their support, encouragement, patience, and love, without which our tasx would have been so much more difficult. This is our story of hard important work at sea and some well deserved relaxation ashore. .1 Q I .X g .fydg I 1-...,.,,.?9, U. J. MUHPHY :IND sums-52,5 r.
