George Sitz, who is new president of the association, has served in this capacity fif- teen ggars out of the past twen- ty. ring the five years that the was not president, she serv ed as chairman of various com- mittees and was always busy on projects and present at the meetings giving inspiration and helpful advice. Under the wise leadership of Mrs. Sits, the P.T.1 has yearly served the high school in every possible capacity. Throughout the depression years, Mrs. Sits was alyays at the helm, guiding the association in projects that would net a little profit so badly need ed to equip classrooms with maps, globes, books, etc. Since the beginning of World War 11, big some have been realized, and, as a result, the P. .A. has been ble to purchase curtains for the auditorium, costing 36784901 chairs for the library amounting to 55l8.00, eQu1g:: t ter the lunch room, and a water heater for th can sgeet economics department. M , l .In addition to its financial aid, the P.T.A. has willingly prepared banquets for the various clubs or the school. n Without the moral, educational, and financial support of the F.T.4.,+the high school could scarcely prosper.
