Billy Foutch Metcalfe-back-nFoutchn-A hard driv- ing back who could snag passes. He could be depended on for needed yardage. Don Roberts-end-nDonn-His defensive playing was missed when he was injured early in the season. Tommy Moore-tackle-UT. Hooreu-Last to the line, last to the huddle, but once the play started, he was dynamite. James Bouldin-guard-nCottonY-Little, but rough and tough. Feared by all opposing linemen. Raymond Hargis-center-HHargisU-Backed up the line handed out many hard tackles. He had little experi- ence but proved to be valuable. L. D. Sartain-guard-nTomn-A red-headed guard who could really roll that line. He stopped many opposing backs. - Lillard Gibbs-tackle-nGibbsn-He made the second all-conference team. He will be a valuable lineman next year. Johnny Fletcher-end-uFletchn-A good blocker who followed up the punts with bone-crushing tackles.

Jim Gallagher-end, back-Hskidmoreu-He could play any position with equal ability. He will have a great season next year. Clay Fults-end-UNeighbern-Clay could play equally well in the line and backfield. He efflset the- loss when a regular was injured. James Frank Gunn-guard-UHooverH-Gunn will be a great linesman before he graduates. He has two more years ahead. Clarence Kilgore-guard-nBuddyn-Kilgore had very little experience, but he played in his first year out for the team. Joe Vernon Creighton-center-nJoen-A light man,bub one who loved to play and was very hard to move when the play came his way. Cecil Meeks-back-Hheeksien-Meeks was also li ht 1 but proved to be valuable before he became inelgible. Denis Mainerd-guard-UMainordU-He supplied plenty of competition for the guard position. Fred Parks-guard-nPinkn-A hard-charging lineman who may prove to be a fine player before he graduates. He will be valuable next year. nGibn Henley, Jimgy Jacobs, Glenn Lautzenheizor, Arthur Ray lngman, nLardN Bennett, Walter Beuldin, Billy bade Uilsony George Schild, Randall Hamby, and Mitchell Flynn will star for future Grundy teams.
