The Coach picked a team from the following boys: Speegle, Bruce CSpeedyD Captain-Blocking Back- was light but furnished the team's brain work. Moore, Horace CJr.D Center-a heavy man, when he floated some one was bound to sink. Gould, Pete CKimseyD Guard-His blocking was always appreciated. Opposition feared him. Barker, Nathan CRedJ Guard-Mean as he looks. Trying to impose on his man, Nunley, Gene CBubbieJ-Tackle-Cone tooth Nunleyl Always off sides. What he lacked in grit he made up in weight. Jacobs, Lewis CJaeobsJ Tackle-A small fellow who will defend G, C, H, S, Colors in '44 and 45. Kilgore, Joe CJoeJ Back-Where is Joe? Very light man but a pass snagger, Henley, Burwell CMI-. Henieyy End-Ho filled the left end exceedingly well. Phipps, Billy CBillD End-A good pass receiver. Kept many teams from coming around Grundy's right end. Paris, Don CParisJ Back-Little man always saying, nLet's flip a coin, Wimp, to see who takes this one.N Did we make it-U Manchester game. Sanders, Willie CBuckJ Back-Good man for next year Held up his place at all times, A good runner,
