On or off the green carpet, the seniors find a home in the office. A distinct halo of dignity surrounds their countenance as they bustle about doing this and that for one teacher or another. Then too, there's work to be done for credit in commerce. And once in a while, as the saying goes, when the cat is away the mice will play. N.,and sponsored by the P,T A. Its function is first aid to school accidents, and prevention and con- trol of communicable disease and epidemics. This year a new bed, mat- tresses, medicine cabinet, linoleum, and drapes were purchased by the P,T,A, to add to the comfort and efficiency of the room. Medical supplies are furnished by the Oregon Township Home Ec Club. Each clinic assistant has a Red Cross Home Nursing Certificate received under the supervision of Lula Seger, Red Cross Home Nursing in- structor. They take turns in caring for the clinic at the noon hour. By practicing hard the members of the Jr. Band merit membership in the Sr. Band. Under the capable direction of Mrs. Lile, the band gave several concerts and played for various school functions. Our band works in close harmony with the Hamlet Band and together form a fine musical organization.
