LM' WH CQGCJQ XVhen the Class of Ianuary, 1953 entered Crover Cleveland, they were Alice in Blunderland. According to some, they then became the disciples of Rip Van XVinkle, and graduated the rivals of Paul Bunyan. Perhaps Baron Munchausen alone could do justice to the transformation. Folk tales are the tales of great achievement. They are the means by which primitive peoples remembered the deeds of those whom they admired for bravery, skill, cunning, and helpfulness. Folk tales are tales we all like to read and hear. They exist because we have given every minute sixty seconds full of honest labor, not Hin the dreaming of great things to do bye and byef' as the poet has Written. To the Class ot Ianuary, l953 we say au revoir as its record of loyalty and devotion to the ideals of Crover Cleveland High School passes from reality into a folk tale.
