Pie Eating Contest Takes the Cake Cleveland survived the usually apathetic attitudes of the Class of ' 76, only to be thrown upon the mercy of the most radical seniors Cleveland has seen in a long time - those of ' 77. Senior Spirit Week this year included activities such as three-legged races, a pie-eating contest, water- balloon wars. Director of Spirit, Dave Bueno, re- mained safe only through the three-legged races and the lifesaver relays.

After the Fall The Cavalier Drama Department performed their annual fall play on the nights of December 10th and 11th. Cavalier actors and actresses dramatized Authur Miller ' s After the Fall under the direction of Miss Victoria Francis. The audience ' s attention was captured by Clint Archam- bault ' s excellent portrayal of the play ' s main character Quentin. Spotlights accented the performances of three other key partici- pants; Denise Chastain as Holga, Carla Norstrand as Louise, and Melinda Klepner as Maggie. Senior Spirit Commences The annual senior spirit frenzy was exposed once again as the Cavaliers tried to prove that three legs are better than four. Participants fumbled in pairs across the quad, some maintaining a little coordina- tion, others losing all and ending up face down on the ground.
