They do more than you would e.xpect them to be capable of at this point of first year background. The supervisor, Mrs. Brann, is a Registered Nurse and she makes sure that all the help that ' s needed is where it should be when it should be. Periods 1,2 The Childhood Education Aide Class gives the high school stu- dents vocational training in the care and proper attention that is necessary to the education of children before their first year of school. They spend time in nurs- ery schools and private schools working with the children and learning themselves about what life has in store for children. After their nine month course, they are ready to handle a job in the field of childhood education. They are doing a very big job by help- ing out tomorrow ' s young adults.
