Honor Students of the Senior Class SEATED: N. Rizzo, F. Cappellano, L, Greco, C. Broncato. STANDING: C. Montante, S. Zaccagnino, A. Missineio, T. Bishop. Salutatory The time for farewell has finally come. Ever since we entered Grover four years ago, all our hopes and endeavors have been centered on that promised goal - graduation. Now as that promise is being fulfilled we find that our anti- cipated joy and happiness is mingled with a sudden sadness as we realize that we are now leaving our Alma Mater where many happy moments have been shared with our classmates and friends. On this night we cannot forget our parents. Mere words fail to express the deep gratitude we owe them. Their expression of confidence in us has been most welcome. Their encourag- ing attitude has enabled us to overcome our disappointments and failures, and also to be content with the feeling that we have tried to do our best. ln a sense the triumphs and honors of graduation belong to them also. To the faculty, we offer our heartfelt thanks and hope we can justify the work and faith put in us. Besides teaching us the required subject matter, they have tried to instill in our minds a sense of moral responsibility. They have helped us to see that each of us is an individual with a distinct purpose in life. As we go into the world of today, we sorely need their good judgment and sound words of advice. ln reality they were not merely our teachers - they were our friends. At last we must say good-bye to Grover- and good-byes are never easy to say. We can never really leave our friendships and the memories of the good old days spent here. Those happy times will be relived again and again as we take our places in the world for which Grover has so ably prepared us. FRANCES CAPPELLANO
