Year of Decision But finally all the dues were collected and the Juniors focused their attention upon Junior Day. They prepared a fine Junior Day Program and enjoyed their day as a respite from preparations for the rapidly approaching final exams. From Junior Day fun they returned to their books with renewed vigor. This, too, was the year that they began thinking seriously of their future vocations and spent many hours in the counseling offices dis- cussing various careers, and receiving much valuable advice from the counselors. Truly, this was a year of decision for the Juniors and we are sure that they have used it wisely.

30 .luniors . The first few days of September found our unit-conscious Juniors scrutinizing their schedule cards to be sure nothing had been omitted. They had returned to Grover resolved that this was the year to buckle down to serious business. The casual air they had worn in their Sophomore year was gone - they were serious students. In the winter the Juniors were friendly with each other fthe class elections were rapidly approachingl. At last they experienced the fun and thrill of electing their class officers and superlatives. The homeroom treasurers, however, found it very difficult to collect the dues and had to resort to giving a Howdy Doody badge to everyone who paid his dues.
