By Frank Rizzo and Vito Lenoci . . . how confused we were when we first entered Grover in l950 . . . our first meeting with Grover's then principal, Mr. Kennedy . . . when the cheerleaders came into our freshman homerooms to teach us the cheers . . . the final nite football game . . . Miss Hall's faithful presence at Grover's sports events . . . Mrs. Riccota's eloquent singing of the Star- Spangled Banner' '... Mr. Hogan's excessive joy on assembly days . . . Henry Chernopiatow's moving oration on his life behind the iron curtain ? . . . the singing of Stout-hearted Men for Mr, Kennedy in his last assembly as principal . . . the dogs running across the lawn as we were taking our class picture in l95O . . . Caesar Tronolone's singing of l'm Forever Blowing Bubbles in one of our assemblies . . . Mrs. Mugridge's cry of Where are you go- ing? when the boys tried to sneak out of the girls' entrance . . . our unforgettable football team of 1952? . , . Gerry Deleon and Marie Griffo competing with averages of not less than 99W in their freshman year . , . the peculiar odors from the chemistry lab vying for supremacy with the odors wafting from the Residence . . . only the boys from Room 208 applauding when 208 was praised . . . the boys dancing with the teachers at last year's Junior Day . . . the moans that were heard from his Latin class when Mr. Hogan announced the half-sheet sign was lost . . . Mrs. Spear's asking if anyone had seen her practice exam papers when she could not find them in our freshman year? flf any infor- mation can be given as to their whereabouts, the seniors offer a reward so they might be cleared of any suspicion.l Soon our high school days will be past but the memories that we have accumulated throughout our years at Grover, the school that has become a part of us, will live in our hearts for many years to come.
