INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL -Intramural activities are the means whereby future varsity men get their training, and should be entered by all those who have the opportunity to participate. This year the team from I I2 won the Frosh- Soph League, and the team from 208 won the Junior-Senior League. The ll2 team had 8 5-0 record, while the 208 team ended with a 7-O record. The two teams played for the school championship, with the title going to 208 after subcluing ll2 by the score 20-IO. The apprehension before every game was ter- rific as the captain searched endlessly for the sixth girl. 308's Erupting Volcanoes gained the basketball champion- ship by beating 300's Glow Worms . THAT BALL! . . basketball cheers - and colds! . . . the return to vacation . . . scholarship classes coming to an end . . . magic pattern of lace on Grover's window Danes passing of each February day brings our graduation VARSITY BASKETBALL -Although this year we won only 4 games and lost 9, we had a better team than the records indicated. We scored 724 points, an average of 55 :Joints per game, which is the highest average our teams have had. This year we shall lose Battaglia, Lunghino, Lojacano, Falsone, Miller, Fiorella, and Telesco, because of graduationj but we have young boys such as Valvo, Raco, and Gervase to form a nucleus for next year.
