Thanks for the information, but l really must leave now, l'll read the rest of the paper in the taxi on the way home. Hmmm-Look at this sports page. Marge Zolczer, Marcella Beaty, Marlene Martin and Joan Petock have joined the Olympic swim- ming team. Oh, this should be good-the Roller Derby is coming to Buffalo, August lst, bringing with it those wildcat skaters, Toni Parisi, Susie Panaro and Rose Marsalaf' Here we are, Miss, at the big, booming, beautiful Sal A. and Sal J. Ballacchino Hotel, Inc. As our visitor signs the register, she reads the names of some other alumni who have come for the reunion. Among these are Mary Della Sala, Glenn Lincicome, Robert Godios, Lucy DiPasquale, Theresa DiMarco and Carl Rizzo. She marches over to the elevator which is run by Carl Saccone, who always did have his ups and downs in life, and then she retires to her suite to gain sufficient strength for the hectic evening which follows. Yes, that was the night to remember, the night when the voices of the Class of '50 again resounded through the halls of Grover. Presid- ing over this glorious affair was Charlie Pace, the Principal, assisted by Frank Cartonia. The speech of Anthony Maccagnano, President of the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Suffer- ing Seniors, was interrupted by a radio-active flash which blew out the atomic lighting system in the auditorium. However, light was restored by bright Mike Vertino, the custodian, who has finally obtained an official life-long member- ship at Grover. While talking to Marge Kearney, a teacher at Grover, our visitor learned that several of our girls such as Mary Procari-Rossi, Anna Mule, Helen Stevenson and Joan Sunzeri are now sta- tioned at the Wave quarters in Good Bye and that air hostesses, Joan Claus, Etta Winters, and Pat Fox are now living at the Flying Saucer base on Mars. She also learned that Joe Tim- ineri is author of the famed book Forever l'm a Senior. As usual, the gang decided to dash across the street to annoy Mr. Donahue. Kay Naples, Rose Pignataro, and Cassie Leone were still sipping the inevitable nickel cokes. lt took quite a while for Johnny Tomasula to compose the concoctions which were ordered because he was interrupted by a customer who was in dire need of a box of Peter's Pink Pills for Puny People. This ailing customer was none other than Joe Lazzaro. Ah -the time has come when our visitor must bid her friends goodbye. This is t-he end of a perfect day. As she rushes to the rocket base to catch her stratospheric flying saucer, she runs into Antoinette Pisa, Joe Pilittere, Jeanette Kester, Ray Mesiah, John Warner and Marie Loverso. They too had decided to leave Buffalo and venture into a more fantastic world.
