LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the class of l948, familiar with the' laws of the City of Buffalo and the State of New York, do hereby make and declare this to be our last will and testament: To those who tread our paths is left the responsibility of upholding the reputation established by the pupils of Grover Cleveland High School. To them also, we bequeath our blue report cards, upon which we hope will be marked the grades characteristic of ambitious seniors. To the girls, we bequeath our speqial seats in assembly-beside the boys. Upon the Sophomore class is bestowed whatever sophistication is associated with being Upper Classmen. One year's experience in action, above and beyond the call of duty, is awarded the Freshmen. The following personal bequests are also made: To Mario Collura is left Michael Gianturccfs high scholastic standing. To Helen Traina, Angeline Conti gives her brilliance. Leo Macaluso's one-hand push shot is given to Tom Gerace, while Fedora Tonello leaves to Rose Provino her blue shorts and white T-shirt. L Victor Petock renounces his fiddle to Jerry Sawyer. Joe Russo's worn-out music sheets go to Pat Brocato. Vince Di Pasquale shall possess John Patti's attractive smile. Mary Ductor's friendly Hi goes to Jeanette Marino. The boisterous laughs of Ray Turchiarelli and Don Celano are left to whoever may claim them. . Gus Schiralli leaves his football helmet to Benny Scinta. Sam lraci is to be the recipient of Al Faso's winged track shoes. Jo Terranova is to fall heir to Gloria Dantonio's strut, Helen Lorenz' long blond hair goes to Joyce Perry. Marie Loffredo leaves her height to Joan Struebing. Alfonso Pirro wills his blue necktie to Room 302 for chemical analysis. Pat Lonca, Rita Vaccaro, and Rose San Filippo leave Mrs. Dohany peace and quiet. Char Federico and Dolores Catalano refuse to give up-Jo and Larry! To Joe Doctor are left backflips from Rich Richliano, and back handsprings from Frank Ricigliano. . Ann Trippi bequeaths her blond hair to Grace Spero. Don Colangelo gives his white cheer- leading sweater to Andy Scire. The little pieces of paper that Jeanette Chiazza collects after first roll call, are to go to Ann Berrafata, who is also ambitious. Having in mind the New Look , Tina Scozzaro has decided to give, with a sigh of relief, her ballerina skirt to Shirley Mills. Loretta Scinta leaves her slide rule and her headaches incurred while using it to James Gruber. Dorothy Clark and Lucille Tomaselli bestow the runs in their stockings to anyone who desires them. Margaret Robertson bestows her dimpled smile to Rose Anzalone. Mary Lamancuso wishes to leave her attractive, dark eyes to Stephen Sireci. To Miss Geraty, the Yearbook Staff extends its grateful appreciation for her guidance in helping us to prepare this year book. SENIOR CLASS OF '48 22
