final Requests if We, the Class of i945 of Grover Cleveland High School, in ac- cordance with the laws of the City of Buffalo, and the State of New York, do hereby make and declare this to be our last will and testament. The early morning classes to make up for lost time-the mystery of the dark halls while we waited for the teacher to arrive-snapshots taken on the campus and also the eternal hope of Seniors that they will improve upon their predecessors-these we leave to the Juniors. Sitting in the balcony-electing officers at last-becoming a real part of the school recognized by the faculty and by classmates-the Juniors leave the Sophomores these privileges and others too numer- ous to be listed. To the Freshmen we leave the right of Sophomores to forget their plight as untried Frosh and to blight the lives of newcomers with scorn- ful looks and hazy answers. The following personal bequests are also made: Salvatore Piccillo leaves his reservation for the office bench to An- thony Alberti. Grace Santonocito leaves her dimples tfive of theml to both the Jenkins girls, Shirley and Joyce-Emma. ltjen, her height to Lorraine Taylor. Rose Portera leaves her histrionics to Jeanette Perla, Marie Mar- rale her gift of gab to quiet Mary Marcy. Fred Pieri wills his hu- mor and antics to Johnny Licata. To Pat Genco, Lois Saeli bequeaths her handy gestures, and Mildred Scaffidi leaves her diplomacy to Peggy Hessler. The Seniors who once studied Cicero leave a wornout pony to the prospective Cicero students. Don't ride it too often. To Frank Cascio is willed Richard Gimbrone's giggle - to Frank Mesiah, George Ricotta's perplexing teasers. Rosie Cappellini leaves to Anna Mae Lewis her sincerity and ambition. To the art students, Lorraine Jalbert leaves a bit of advice. Don't confuse your teacher and don't yawn. Jimmy Ralabate leaves the field free for Pete Piccillo-Rollo Gen- naro, his charm to Peter Giovinazzo-Carmen Anzalone leaves his blush rouge to Bernard Rehbaum-Dolores Barone her exclusive variety of clothes to Carol Maul. Rose Boda leaves her priority for an alarm clock lwhich hasn't ar- rived yetl to Christine Fontana. Elvira Maraschiello wishes to leave to Florence Russo success in her voice lessons. The Senior Class, being of sound mind, herein inscribes its name to the above document, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hun- dred and forty-five. Graduating Class of '45
