I ,, sv GIRLS' TENNIS The tennis team this year had a successful season under the capable coaching of Mrs. Sterle. Although the weather somewhat limited their schedule, the girls played three sets of doubles and two sets of singles with Glen Ridge and East Orange, and managed to defeat the Glen Ridge doubles teams. Since this is the first year for most of the players, they deserve much credit for holding their own as diligently as they did against the stiff competition of more experi- enced girls. ,f 1 -0 fe . , Q GIRLS' BO LI G As we go to press, the girls' bowling team has not yet completed its schedule, which includes games with Montclair, Belleville, Passaic Valley, and Morristown. The fine members who bowl in each game are those who hold the highest averages at the practice prior to the game. Meta Everett, Pat Harrell, Mitzi Milone, Carol Thorne, and Betty Zahn are among those who have maintained consistently high averages throughout the season. All of the bowlers received a great deal of enjoyment from their sport and much credit is due Mrs. Bordner for her line coaching. First row: Peggy Messina, Pat Fonroy, Meta Everett. Betty Zahn, Pat llarrell, Sally Kraemer, Mrs. Bordner Cfoachl. Second row: Betty Ann Everett, ,loan Arrtrstrovtg, Uariilyri Liska, Shirley Fox. Third now: janicc NYagner, llarhara Christy.
