1 FOREWORD Throughout the pages of this annual, we the Seniors and Madisonian Staff have tried to convey with pictures the memorable and exciting moments we have shared together during the last nine months of our high school days. We shall always remember with great pride feeling of honor to be the first class to graduate from the new high school building This was ayear of many changes administration faculty and sep aration of the high school from the elementary School Since the 7th and 8th grades have become a part of our high school they became a part of our annual Another feature we have added is the sponsored pages which deletes the advertising sec tion and devotes more space to pictures The production of a yearbook of this type is not accomplished without the combined efforts of a great number of people lt is not possible to list everyone who has helped but we would like to ex press to them our sincere thanks for helping to make this book a success We hope you will enjoy the 1957 Madisonian much as we have enjoyed producing it ay! iff'
