JUNIOR CLASSICAL LEAGUE President ...... . . .Janice Graham Vice-President. . . . . .Frances Cain Secretary. .... .... J udy Eubank Treasurer. ....................... Phyllis Vance The Groveport Chapter of the Junior Classical League started the year with twenty-two old members and twenty- five new members. A formal initiation for the new members was held in February. On March 29, we took a trip to Ohio State University for the State JCL Convention. Everyone had an enjoyable time. The club members purchased pencils in the JCL colors, purple and gold, with the name of the club and the club mot- to imprinted on them. The informal initiation for the new' members was held in April, in connection with the annual spring party. The club motto for the Junior Classical League is Ad Astra per Aspera, which means To the Stars through Dif- ficulties. This motto expresses the determination of the student of Latin to reach a high goal in spite of the diffi- culties that he encounters. Compliments of Dr. D. ORVAL KRANER OPTOMETRIST 900 S.
