UNIOR CLASS Election of officers was the first important event on the calendar for the class of '55. October brought the election for Homecoming Court. Pretty little Char- lene Smith was' chosen to represent our class. She was escorted by Jerry Good- year. Mary Kay Nelson, Sharon Schwaberow, Mary Ellen Codner, and Suzie Haines had the honor of being elected to the Honor Society late in October. ln February Barbara Davy, Mabel McClish, and Valerie Johnson were taken into the Society. Our large money-making project was a Rag Drive. lt was something new for most of us, but a success. We made 5173.59 from this drive. Lucky Penny was the name of the class play. It was given the latest of any junior play. However it was still a wonderful success. The juniors honored the seniors at abanquet given at Ilonka's Provincial House on May 1. Our class party was a picnic on May 26. 24
