To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for every child the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education. A. IANIIARY - Father's Night Legislation: Be In- formed. FEBRUARY - FOunder's Day. MARCH - Safety In The Home, In The Grade School, In The Driving. APRIL - Youth In A Responsible Society. SUCCESS AT SCHOOL The home provides the foundation for what a child learns at school. The attitudes of the parents toward education and toward the school affect the way a child attacks the jobs of the day. A harmon- ious homelife makes a real contribution to the way children succeed at school.

Mrs. Jewell Watson, Mrs. Ruby Clanton, and Mrs. Vernie Clem, turn out good, nutritious meals daily for our hungry mob. They plan varied meals for the 250 students who eat in the lunch room, and prepare festive meals for holiday occasions. These are the men who deliver us safel t d f O Our school buildings are kept shining by our two custodians, Ilurhl Trenary and jim Ilnderwood. Theirs is a never-ending job, as they work through the summer repairing furniture, painting, and mowing the lawns.
