2 Peggy and Mary lee Assist Cleo Munnlng In Runnlng Office Mrs Cleo Manning with the assistance of students Peggy Drake and Mary Lee Meadows does much of the clerical work tn the offices of the principal and the superintendent Mrs Manning has charge of the lunch room reports types manuscripts helps with official letters records school accounts and in general does anything that needs to be done in her depart ment The student assistants answer the telephone gather up absentee slips run errands and help with mmor clerical work llbrury Work Trulns Future llbrurluns The library staff is made up of nineteen boys and girls who are in complete manage ment of the library throughout the school day Their duties include checking out books caring for the fine list issuing maga- zines making reading lists putting returned books on the shelf and keeping the library clean and orderly.
