That was the day that we let go of our mothers’ hands and began our thirteen long years of preparation and education. We can look back with pride on our accomplishments. Our first class project, the magazine sale net us record profits. Our “Evening in the Orient” was one of G.C.H.S.’s most beautiful proms and had an unprecedented attendance. The senior class joined in laughter one last time at the senior banquet. The awards assembly, baccalaureate, and commencement all passed too quickly. We found that we were no longer seniors, but graduates. It is with pride that we can look at our four years at G.C.H.S. as we travel toward our destinies, we can feel confident that we left behind a lodestar to guide our successors.
