McFarland; Mr. Robert T. Montgomery; Mr. Howard S. Mclntire. Missing from picture; Mr. Edward B. Granger. ADMINISTRATION Mr. Jack Shearer; Superintendent Dr. Kenneth W. Mills; Imstant Superintendent 1974 marks the beginning of Mr. Jack Shearer’s position as Superintendent of the Grove City Area School System. Mr. Shearer began his education in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Shearer has also done graduate work at Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Georgetown and George Washington Universities. Prior to his position in the Grove City School System, Mr. Shearer was Assistant Superintendent of the Kiski Area School District. He has been in the educational field for twenty-five years serving as elementary teacher, secondary teacher, secondary principal, and as a Central Administrator. Dr. Kenneth W. Mills began his duties as Assistant Superintei dent of the Grove City Area Schools this year. A native of Buth Pennsylvania, Dr. Mills received his Bachelor of Science Degree Education from Slippery Rock State College, Masters Degree Education from the University of Pittsburgh, Master of Arts Economics and Ph.D. in Education from Ohio University. Follow his education, Dr. Mills taught Social Studies at Seneca Valley H School. Other positions were College Supervisor of Student Teach and Assistant Director of Registration at Ohio University; E School Principal at Liverpool, New York and Quakertown, Penn vania.

PRINCIPALS Senior High School Principal Morrison Orr began his teaching career at Cambridge Springs and South Butler County School District. He served as acting principal of Knock High School and did graduate work at the Universities of Chicago, Massachusetts and Temple. Mr. Morrison L. Orr; Principal Mr. James Ross is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and received his Masters of Education from Duquesne University. He took additional work at West Virginia University and the University of Pittsburgh before coming to Grove City. Mr. Ross was an administrator for two years in West Virginia GUIDANCE
