Fitness is reflected in better school work, a healthier state of mind, and an extended life span. Gym activities such as basketball, volleyball. softball, gymnastics, and fencing contribute to such fitness. Mr. Lew Matthews. Music and Director of Orchestra FINE ARTS Fine arts provide an outlet for the creativity present in the developing young minds of high school students. Courses in Music, Art, Speech and Drama strive to discover and encourage talent. In Chorus, Band, and Orchestra students pool their abilities and present annual performances to interested audiences. Students may take art for four years and develop special interests in various areas. Students interested in Speech are trained to be interesting and confident before audiences.
