MR. MORRISON ORR. High School Principal Mr. Morrison L. Orr attended Edinboro State Teachers College. He did graduate work at Pennsylvania State University and took additional courses at the University of Chicago and at the University of Massachusetts. His teaching experience includes eight years at Cambridge Springs and one at South Butler. Prior to assuming his post at Grove City as Senior High Principal. Mr. Orr served as acting principal at Knoch High School. GUIDANCE MISS ESTHER UREY. Guidance Mr. Donald Aiken, who assumed his role as Assistant Senior High Principal in January of 1969. is a graduate of Lincoln High School in Ellwood City. From Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he received his B.S. Degree and front Westminster his Masters in Education. Before coming here, Mr. Aiken taught in Neshannock Township Schools from 1963 to 1967 and in Lawrence County Area Vocational Technological Schools for the year 1967-1968. MR. JOHN S. SCHULTZ. ADMINISTRATION DALE N. PEARCE. Superintendent MR. WILLIAM KOENIG. Assistant Superintendent Mr. Dale N. Pearce began his education in Butler County attending Adams Township Schools and Mars Area High School. He continued it at Slippery Rock State College, where he received his B.S. in Education, and Westminster College, where he received his M.S. in Education. He also earned additional graduate credits from Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Pearce served for four years with the U.S. Air Force during World War II. His background includes teaching experience in Hopewell Township in Beaver County and Lincoln and Central Schools in Grove City. He was Building Principal at Central from 1948 to 1954, Elementary Principal from 1954 to 1964, Assistant Superintendent from 1964 to 1966 and he became Superintendent of Schools on July 1, 1966. Missing from picture Howard Mclntire. Mr. William H. Koenig attended schools in Kentucky and Michigan before graduating from Grove City High School. His college credits include a Bachelor of Music from Grove City College, a Master of Science in Education from Westminster College, and advanced graduate work at the University of Pittsburgh. He served two years in the U.S. Army. Mr. Koenig taught in the public schools of Mercer and Allegheny Counties and was an Administrative Intern in the Dormont Borough School District for one year. He was assistant to the superintendent in charge of instruction in the Saucon Valley School District before assuming his present post as Assistant Superintendent here in 1966. 8

Society would remain stagnant if it were not for language, so that our ideas can be communicated. This important progress increases as one’s knowledge and command of communication grows.
