Mr. Dale N. Pearce, Superintendent The world is looking for a purpose. This is evidenced by extremes found in dress, hair styles, the mobility of people and in the fact that there is a war. Fash- ions and fads can be fun but too fre- quently conceal the searching for a pur- pose I'or living. Our educational program has been an effort to help you find a purpose in life. Nile hope you will use this education as a foundation for achieving your goals. Harold Taylor said, Education is good only as it helps people to enrich and fulhll their lives, both in leading toward personal joy and in leading to- ward the extension of one's talents into modes of helping other people. My wish for the seniors is that you may know the best of the good things that life has to offer. ADMINISTRATIGN Participants in our democracy may be thought of as consumers and producers. So far in life the members of the Class of 1967 have been primarily consumers. They have reaped the benefits of the world's best free educational system. They have also benefited from organiza- tions such as the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. As the members of this class leave us and begin to take their adult places in society, it is important that they realize that now they should become producers as well as consumers. People are needed to become active in government. Youth groups which make our community a better place to live need workers. Agen- cies concerned with the moral and spir- itual development of our community need new helpers. The challenge is there. Will the members of the Class of 1967 take it? Mr. William Koenig, Assistant Superintendent

The first thing that you should attend to is to speak whatever language you do in its greatest purity and according It is the contention that all people should read. write, and speak a common language, as a basis of international under- standing but since this is a highly improbable situation, we LANGUAGE master these languages which may aid us most in our future. Language is the basis for all of man's activities whether it be in school, business, at home, or around friends. Thoughts which a person thinks may sometimes be spoken but the key to this connnunication is understanding. As the competitive aspect of the world develops, the need for a more extensive knowledge of languages becomes apparent. For this reason English, French, German, Latin, and Spanish are offered to the students of Grove City High School.
