PHYSICAL EDLICATIO An important part of the educational world is physical education. Included in this program are physical activities, health and safety courses. Many diversified activities are oifered in the classes. The boys participate in touch football, mushball, Wrestling, track fundamentals, soccer, basketball, tumbling, and rope work. Girls enjoy modern and square dancing, soccer, softball, tumbling, basketball, tennis, and volleyball. This program is based upon one idea-that each student should develop himself physically while learning to grow in sportsmanship and char- acter through participation with others. Mrs. Mila Bovardg Homemaking HOME ECCNOMICS This field of education covers the many aspects of family living. An actual home in school provides the student a chance to develop self-confidence, lead- ership, initiative, and co-operation. Emphasis is on the development of in- terests and meeting the needs of individ- uals. No simple task is the management of money, the various needs of the family, and the care and guidance of children. These aspects are discussed in the class- room.
