Mr. Paul Flemingg Industrial Arts The study of music and art brings to the 'E- foreground many of the hidden talents lying dormant in youth. With a little coaching and a few suggestions, this activity might well be the initial Step in the choice of a life- time career or hobby . The music program at Grove City pro- vides an outlet for all interested students through practice and performance with large groups and with small ensembles. The de- partment's major project is the annual pres- entation of a concert during the Christmas season. Industrial Arts, a part of our general ed- ucation, helps to teach good habits and at- titudes , to develop creative and experimen- tal abilities, to provide for better and hap- pier homes by making for more discerning buyers, for caring properly for the many me- chanical things which surround us in every- day life, and to provide an opportunity for exploring the many areas of industry. These various courses enable students to share creative ideas with classmates who have similar interests.
