R. HETRICK, our new principal, has a B. S. in Ed. from Slippery Rock State Teachers College and Ed. M. from Pitt University. He came to Grove City from Butler where he taught for seven years . While there he taught biology and was director of adult education. RS EILEEN THORNE Secretary to Mr Hetnck is a graduate of Grove City High School Her many office duties include checking attendance sale of milk and ice cream tickets typing making up bulletins and necessary duties DON T suppose you could say our junior High is new because we re in the old senior high building but the set up and most of the teachers are new arts art business and special subjects We have Mr Hetrick his secretary and the teachers to thank for keeping order the first few days while everyone got used to the new routine of changing classes eating lunch at school and many other new things including how to use library permits and hall passes correctly Many of the Freshmen work in the library as aids under the direction of our library science teacher and the boys work as patrol boys We have a junior H1 Y and Tri Hi Y a Dramatic Club and a boy s basketball team 7 We have nine departments: English, languages, math, science, history, homemaking, industrial
