Ats Art Drama and Music compose the Grossmont Fine Arts Department The art classes enable stu dents to work on commercial art create fascinating pictures an water color oil and casein explore inter estlng designs or develop an appreciation for the techniques and accomplishments in photography The Drama Department has received many awards for performances superior to those of ave rage high schools Students learn the art of apply ing make up techniques of dialect writing modern dance and acting The students participating in Dramatic Arts have provided many hours of enter tainment and have brought honor and fame to Grossmont Merle Donohue Dan Lewis Richard Dunlop The Music Department offers outstanding training in both vocal and instrumental fields, Many long hours are spent in preparation and rehearsals to present to the students of Grossmont impressive and inspiring programs.
