Although the maiority of students will concede the point that math is valuable, they will readily admit that the mental activity caused by its frequent ap- plication bears a strong resemblance to the painful process of thinking. Under depart- ment head Mr. Rusk, the cure-all for binom- ial blues frequently contracted by math STU- dents while doing homework is in a large capsule labeled, lf you think it's bad ngwl wait 'til college or, more commonly, Ngpgre the Work and spoil the grades .
