G Jean Sherley Carmen Boyne Physical Education trained dancersg Military Science parked carsg the basketball team trekked to Gillespie gym to practice so that the Grossmont gym would be tree tor rehearsalsg and all of Grossmont lstudents and facultyl entered into the Pageant spirit, More than 5,000 people made the trip to Grossmont to witness the three performances ot the 28th year ot the Christmas Pageant in l953, and students crowded the auditorium to see the special dress rehearsal. lwiflmcp Nothing is more characteristic of Grossmonters than the spirit with which they prepare and present the annual Christmas Pageant. With complete devotion, students, teachers, administration, office and grounds staffs, and community start to work early in the fall on this traditional gift to the community. ln this production are found some of the best aspects of Grossmont life - loyalty, devotion to duty and dedication to high moral purposes.
