The Curious Savage Senior Play If you haven't seen a play put on by our drama department, you don't know what you've missed. Here perhaps are the future actresses and actors of stage, screen, T.V, and radio. Two outstanding plays were presented to the student body and public this year. Under the inspir- ing direction of Mr Baumgartner, and with the help of the light, stage and sound crew, The Merchant of Yonkers and The Curious Savage were both well acted and thoroughly enjoyed by all in both evening and afternoon perform- ances. The casts of both felt that it was well worth all of the long and tedi- ous hours put in on memorizing lines and in practicing through many long sessions.

lwiflmcp Nothing is more characteristic of Grossmonters than the spirit with which they prepare and present the annual Christmas Pageant. With complete devotion, students, teachers, administration, office and grounds staffs, and community start to work early in the fall on this traditional gift to the community. ln this production are found some of the best aspects of Grossmont life - loyalty, devotion to duty and dedication to high moral purposes.
