Their participation in the half-time entertainment this year resulted in glorious performances. Blue and old Flag Corps Tina Alessio, leader of the Grossmont Flag Corps, really led her group to many victories this year. In their striking new costumes and flags of blue and gold, these fourteen girls were highly praised tor their great halt-time and parade enter- tainment. As a result of their splendid achieve- ments, our band director, Mr. Harold Lutz, asked them to carry the banner for the bond in the Seven-Western-States' famous Parade. Thus hon- ored, these girls helped bring home the top award, winning tor us the permanent trophy Through the cooperation and loyalty between members of the corps and their new director, Miss Harker, the Flag Corps has won much glory. The students salute you for a job well done.
