Mr James L, Dyer Mr. James B. Bosley --ft' Miss Mariorie Hyde Miss Patricia Lucero Mr Richard Peterson Mr. James Parker Gussies and Gerties have an excellent opportunity to pre- pare themselves for business careers at Grossmont in the Commercial Department. Fu- ture business teachers, secre- taries, bookkeepers, clerical workers, and salesmen have access to the latest equipment, including dictating, calculating and adding machines, electric typewriters, shorthand record- ing tapes dictated by experts, modern metal bookkeeping desks, and duplicating equip- ment. Students who have tak- en commercial courses will long remember the excellent equipment and the experi- enced staff of teachers. Our superior Ag Department offers a four-year course including the study of animal husbandry, horticulture, farm management and soil crops. Our boys have won honors in many contests and received statewide recognition in the State Final Citrus Judging. Entries in the San Diego County Fair are anticipated each year and many of our Ag pupils are receiving invaluable training for prosperous and happy living. The Art Department offers to each student the chance to experience a wide variety of materials, including silverwork, enameling, oil painting, watercolor, weaving, pottery and glazing, silk screen, textiles, etc. The Pho- tography Lab, unusually well equipped, allows each student to experience the many-sided techniques and accomplishments of a field vital to our times. Our aim is to introduce to each student the qualities of fine materials and to allow each to develop his personal visual language, broadened and enriched by a knowledge of our Art Heritage. -wwe 424 Zi ' -'ww' f - ' 1 3 wen Q- ff--14134 -4' X z A ' .7 f ' ' f-'gj if Ziiiinf 7, 2'-'faif-Q, Z A f ' ,gain ,- 5.
