JUDICIAL DEPARTMENT STUDENT COURT The Student Court has a two told purpose: tirst, to discipline: and second, to promote school spirit. Carol Settles, the Chiet Justice, presided at hearings and rendered iudgment. Representatives trom each class served as a jury to decide the guilt or innocence ol the accused. Included in this group were Pat Sheehan, Peg Williams, Sue Smith, Jackie Taylor, Bud Fuller, Lynette Larson, and Gene Larson. Many others served as bailitts, clerlcs, prosecuting attorneys, and defense lawyers. Bailitts were: Jerry Pixton, Noel Mickelson, Niels Chris- tiansen, Louis Sonlca, Nancy I-Iuns- berger was clerlc. Y N- INTER CLUB COUNCIL The Intel Club Council coordinates the activities ot all school clubs Each club sends a representative to the council where club problems and entrance ot new clubs are discussed This year as a service to the clubs the l.C.C. sponsored the Cuyamaca Conference. Don Malloy is president Bob Gibson vice president and Nancy Kirwin is the secretary

Lewis Accord presides cver the Upper I-louse, Grossmonts Senate I-Ie 's assisted by Martin Beclc, vice-president: Barbara EI- ston, secretary, and Le Roy Cooper, parliamentarian. The Iower and most representative body ot the legislative branch ot our student government is the Student Council It is composed ot a representative from each second period class Cole Williams, A.S.B, vice presi- dent presided over this law malcing body I-Ielprng Cole were Johnny I-Iancoclc vice president ot the student council Barbara Smith secretary and Jim McDermott parliamentarian.

ll rickar SQUAD A sea of eager faces and waving tickets was what the ticket squad faced at every game this year. They sold and collected tickets at all ASB, functions. CARD TRICKS Come on you guys, lets all put them up at once-I, 2, 3. lt was loads ol work tor Sue Sheare and her helpers, but the card tricks at the football games were really great. Qs 'X 115.15 'Qui ...Aw- nj. . r- --1' COMMISSIONERS ASSISTANTS Our '49-'50 Commission was very lucky to 'have had such an active group of assistants. These hard working people make agendas, write notes, and help the commissioners in many other ways.
