President is the guiding arm ot the Commission. Norman considers the problems ot the student body as his own personal problems and the smoothness with which the A.S.B. conducts its activities is in a large measure due to his ceaseless ettorts. TEDDY VITA ln serving as the etticient Commissioner ot Einance, Teddy has the responsibilities ot supervising f'N.S.B. administration expendie tures, recording purchase orders and reciuisif tions. In addition, she supervises the tinan cial records ot all ASB. clubs, and this year has started a system ot auditing all boolrs monthly. DON I-IUCKABY The supervision ot all athletic events involves the checking ot all players' eligibile ity, arranging tor the games, and ordering the awards, to mention a tew ot Don's duties. Besides ably pertorming the other jobs ot Commissioner ot Athletics, Don has tound time to reorganize the Letterman's Club and promote a golt team. VIRGINIA BANDT The Commissioner ot Publicity is equally slqilled at wielding a paint brush, chartering a Greyhound bus, or organizing a Circle Q service committee. Virginia is responsible tor an excellent job ot publishing A.S.B. activities throughout the year. in CQMMISSIGNERS OE 1946-47 ED BUSCH As Commissioner advisor to the Student Advisory Council, the Commissioner of Co- ordinated Activities is the vital linlc between the student body and its officers. Ed is also the students' representative at the P.T.A. executive meetings, and the efficient organ- izer of all charity drives such as the March of Dimes and Red Cross. BERNARD HOFFMAN Faced with the problem of creating inter- esting assemblies for a student body too large to be accommodated in the auditor- ium, Bernard worlced out a system whereby all classes could attend the assemblies. An assembly opinion box and up-to-date cal- endar of school events are a few of his other projects. BETTY HERSHEY A.S.B. dances, elections, and supervision over the 6.6.6. Board are but a few of the important duties of the Commissioner of Welfare. The success of many popular Student Body functions may be credited to Betty's planning.
