First hour junior gym class practices basic archery skills in the field room. 102 Activity promotes physical fitness A number of gym students qualified this year for the Presidential Physical Fitness Award by achieving scores above the 85th percentile on all fitness tests. Recipients in- cluded David Beynon, Gail Haddad, Marilyn Jones, Darlene Klovski, Ralph La Rose Donna Longo, Eva Reeves, Jackie Robison, Barb Sorenson, and Karen Sullivan. In gym class, sophomores and juniors fol- lowed the traditional curriculum. For this year only, freshmen had sophomore sports. Next year, a new program which avoids repetition, will be developed. 7
