Freshmen Field day fosters competition Another Freshman Field Day came and went on a sunny, but cool Sep- tember day. Once awake, the freshmen were led outside to the field where many ac- tivities were scheduled to take place. Homerooms battled homerooms' in several events. On the field they played kick ball and soccer. They also participated in the three-legged race and the wheelbarrow race. mbassadors promote image The recruitment team is vital to the future of Gross High School, said Mrs. Judy Monaghan, the team's moderator. The main purpose of the team was to promote Gross. They went to Catholic elementary schools and parishes. The team also assisted with Open House, placement exams for incoming freshmen, the Cele- Bruncheon activities and the follow- up contact program with prospec- tive students.
