They IosT Three of The firsT four games. DespiTe some heavy injuries, They came back To claim vicTories over Three of The lasT four Teams. As The, season progressed, TIT Team improved. According T Coach Herman, John Carroll aT Tig end and lvlaTT Flynn aT quarTerbac showed The mosT improvemenT. Some key players included junic Dave C-iandinoTo, Tony Peska, or Mike PiTzI, and sophomore Ma Flynn.
