Taog S bctfwc- Editing of the 1945 HTaogH has been a new and exciting experience for both students and sponsors. Getting pictures made and developed was our worst problem, but this was overcome by the constant work of our photographers, Dorothy Clements, Pete Moffatt, and Jo Lue Morris. Artists, Delva Funderburk, Jimmie Harringer, and Pztsy O'Hara worked many hours drawing and printing. Our business managers were Jimmie Harringer and Walter Lee Kennedy assisted by Randall Rand. Free annuals were awarded to Jackie Lloyd and Jane Browder for being high sa1esmen.The other salesmen are known throughout school for their eagerness in selling HTaogsH. Outstanding helpers proved to be Frances Gregory,JoyMcBay, Patsy Havekost, and Lou Hayes. Many times Jewel Singleton, June Womack, and Jo Anabel Ford were called upon to type for the an- nual. John E. Vinzant, Wayne Smith, Joan Hadaway, Tommy Beck, and Johnnie Bruce Scott, did their part in making layouts and working on write ups. I want to thank Mr. Whitehurst and the teachers for their complete cooperation. Miss Wilkinson and Mrs. Blevins for their tireless and efficient guidance, and the HTaogH staff for its aid. It is through the combined efforts of all that we present this uTaogH of 1945 Editor-in-Chief 1
