BA KETBALL Dropping the weaker teams from their schedule and replacing them with tougher ones resulted in a season record slightly below the .500 mark. The loss of four first-stringers from last years team, left the Wolverines with only one experienced ball player, Paul LeClaire. Three players, john McNally, Pete DeGregorio, and Wilfred Gero, were brought up from the junior Varsity, and Warren Bennett came out after a year's absence. The highlight of the season came in the final game against our arch rival, Plainfield, when Paul LeClaire sank a one-hander from three-quarter court with only seconds remain- ing to send the game into overtime. During the overtime, Honk Bennett dropped in two buckets, and Paul LeClaire scored one, to give the Wolverines the decision.
